Minazuki
In the old lunar calendar, Minazuki (June) was a time of purification. The rains had come and people sought rituals to cleanse away misfortune. On the last day of June, shrines across Japan held Nagashi-no-Harae: paper dolls cast into rivers, carrying impurities away.
In Yokai Match this June, Kappa has claimed the board. A stone-ringed pond sits at the heart of the grid: 12 tiles counting down with every match made nearby. Let them reach zero and the flood comes. Clear them in time, and the waters recede. Collect this month: Minazuki, Chinowa, Kappa Lore
Tanabata
Tanabata has come to the shrine, and the sky is full of wishes! A river of starlight now spills across the board, hiding tiles beneath its glow until you clear a path through. Match near the stars to peel back the night, one twinkle at a time. Ten new levels await, along with a tanzaku where you can write your own wish for Inari to carry to the heavens. Gather the Star Omamori and Tanzaku charms before the festival fades on August 9th. Look up. The stars are closer than you think.
